Ik kreeg een uitnodigend bericht uit Mexico, waar ze zich voorbereiden op de komende Apimondia in maart 2012. Misschien aardig er kennis van de nemen. De voorafgaande Spaanse tekst laat ik maar achterwege.

Dear all,
It is a great pleasure to inform you newly that from March 19 to 25, 2012, we will organize the Second Apimondia World Conference on Organic Beekeeping, in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico.
All the relevant information is on http://www.ecosur.mx/abejas
It will be an open space to everybody, beekeepers, researchers, organizations, traders... to share experiences and opinions, present recent data, debate about social and environmental values in our works, debate about urgent topics like genetically modified organisms and how they affect beekeeping, show pictures, videos or recipes, and much more.
Let us highlight that among different ways to participate, you may present a short video, showing beekeeping in your country, in a dynamic, original and instructive way. Fans of the picture, be encouraged to submit your work, as it will give much life to our meeting!
The Highlands of Chiapas region, in all its cultural diversity and natural richness, is waiting for you, in the promise of a great meeting.
